Seasons at Gems: Whilst Joan was also coaching Purley my old club, I joined Gems as a second claim member, playing when they had injuries etc - I joined permanently - September 06.

Something about me: My passion for netball began playing club in Liverpool and for Merseyside Representative team. Netball on Merseyside is a "tough" game, so when we migrated south, I was a little surprised at the more 'genteel' nature of the sourtherners on court, until I met Lou 1 , and now I feel at home again!

I played initially for Fairlands and then spent seven years at Purley playing Poly and National clubs, making great friends along the way. In between my husband Steve and I with Natasha our daughter, lived in Australia . Whilst there I had a season playing netball oz style, for Narrabeen in Sydney. It was a fantastic life and netball experience.

Other names:In my 'youth', I was told I resembled Linda Carter - Wonder woman - but for some reason my friends called me Blunder Woman - I have NO............ idea why!
